It goes along the Lech, upstream. The terrain is cropped. The narrow path changes between grassy and stony, leads partly slightly uphill, but for the most part runs evenly along it. After about 10 minutes you reach the district Zug. The path leads behind the mountain lift station of Zug and further past the fishpond. On the right, after Zug, one recognizes the toll station into the Zugertal. The Älpele inn is only 15 minutes away. Most of the way runs through the forest. After a few minutes on the asphalt you reach the forest camp and a barbecue area. The route takes a loop back to the Gasthaus Älpele and continues along the Lech or the asphalted road back to the Kneipp site.
