Austria’s jazz icon SIMONE KOPMAJER masterfully blends smooth jazz originals, pop covers and timeless jazz standards. Dubbed the “Styrian vocalist with a fine timbre and cool swing,” the artist has achieved cult status in Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

Her album “Hope” topped the Japanese jazz charts, and in her native Austria, she was nominated for the 2021 Amadeus Austrian Music Award.

The theme of hope is central to Kopmajer’s music, a sentiment she captures with elegance and emotion. Accompanied by Heribert Kohlich (keys), Karl Sayer (bass) and Reinhardt Winkler (drums), she weaves together jazz, swing, and refined pop in a sound that is relaxed, playful and sophisticated – always varied and full of soul.
