Skiing with Strolz enjoyment

The Strolz sports and fashion house in Lech am Arlberg invited its customers and partners to the "Skiing with Strolz Pleasure" event on 8 December. During the event, they had the opportunity to try out the latest ski trends on the Arlberg for themselves. At the Evening Shopping, the company also presented its latest Tecnica x Strolz ski boot, developed together with Tecnica and Sidas.

On the snow-covered slopes of the Arlberg, Strolz made it possible for its customers to try out the latest ski trends for themselves in perfect winter weather on 8 December. The sports and fashion house provided various top models from Blizzard, Atomic/Volant, Head, Black Crows, Stöckli and Golden Eagle for testing. "We are pleased that we were able to welcome so many interested people to our event and once again prove our expertise in the field of winter sports. We have selected some promising trends that will accompany us in the coming winters and which we were able to introduce to our guests. The event was a successful finale for our 101st company year," says Olivia Strolz, Managing Director of Strolz GmbH, enthusiastically.

After the ski test, the company invited to an evening shopping in the fashion house. Visitors could enjoy regional finger food while browsing through the latest collections. Once the perfect outfit had been found, artist Nadja König skilfully illustrated the guests in it live on the spot. The presentation of the new Tecnica x Strolz ski boot also took place at this event.

In 2021, Strolz presented the first ski boot in cooperation with Tecnica and Sidas. This was again further developed with the experiences from last year and is now available just in time for the start of winter. "The first ski boot was already a complete success. 101 years of experience in fitting custom ski boots and the highest level of craftsmanship met here with the expertise of the renowned sporting goods manufacturers Tecnica and Sidas. This year we have developed this special custom-made ski boot even further," says member of the management Toni Maierbrugger.

The boot consists of a fully customisable shell, a custom foam liner and a custom insole. The Tecnica shell has a precise fit, high adaptability and comfort. The inner boot from Sidas is custom foamed and impresses with its light weight. The basis of every ski boot is a 3D scan for the adjustment of the shell. The insole is also custom-milled - this relieves the feet and ensures perfect power transmission.

The Strolz sports and fashion house in Lech am Arlberg is celebrating its 101st anniversary this year. The foundation stone for a unique success story was laid in 1921 by Ambros Strolz Senior with a shoe workshop - one of the world's first ski boots was made here. Today the company is run by Olivia Strolz, the fourth generation. In addition to its own ski boots, Strolz is also an internationally renowned sports and fashion house. Strolz operates a total of four branches in Lech and Zürs.
