The tile manufacturer Karak from Vorarlberg combines tradition and modernity in his handmade clay objects. The tiles with geometric ornaments are sensual testimonies of elementary processes and symbolise the shaping of a relationship between East and West. The design tiles are given a unique surface in the combination of digital graphics and Japanese raku firing technique. In many cases, new individual series are inspired by projects and personalities. In close cooperation with clients, exclusive objects are created that lay the ground for sensual spaces.
