Fine pork with Alexandra Palla and Roman Thum

Viennese designer Alexandra Palla combines her culinary passion with a modern lifestyle and ensures that traditional Viennese cuisine is not lost. Within just a few years, she has published two cookery books, ‘Meine Sommerfrische Küche’ and ‘Put a Lot of Love in It’. With her label Palla Vienna, she develops a characteristic clothing line made from the typical fabrics whose patterns are reminiscent of tea towel fabrics. The unmistakable check continues to inspire her and is also used for a tableware series with Feinedinge* Vienna, which is also used in the catering industry.
She is a guest at Friends & Fools with her cousin Roman Thum, who is the fifth generation to run the family business Thum Schinken. Together, they will take you on a journey into the world of conscious and mindful handling of pork with a multi-course menu on the theme of ‘Fine Pork’. A contemporary ‘nose to tail’ cuisine is presented with great respect for animal welfare.
