The leitmotif of the new event format conceived by Markus Hengstschläger with Hermann Fercher from Lech Zürs Tourismus in 2022 is the question ‘What effect, what impact do the latest findings and developments have on our daily lives, on our work, on our society?’

Road to Lech - Partner der Arlberg Classic Car Rally
Right at the start of our summer season, we welcome all golfers to the ‘Road to Lech, Partner of the Arlberg Classic Car Rally’ tournament. Discover the unique golf course at 1500 metres above sea level, nestled in the stunning mountain panorama of the Zug Valley. The 19-hectare, 9-hole golf course in Lech-Zug is the perfect playground in the middle of nature and with PAR 66 an exciting but realisable challenge. Lesung mit Petra Pellini
A german reading with the author Petra Pellini. Petra Pellini was born in 1970 in Vorarlberg and lives and works in Bregenz. She worked for a long time in the care of people with dementia. She was awarded with the Vorarlberg Literature Prize in 2021 for an excerpt from her novel “Der Bademeister ohne Himmel”. Where: Library, Hotel Sonnenburg For Sonnenburg hotel and restaurant guests, participation to the reading is free of charge. If you only attend the reading, an entrance fee of 5,00 € per person will be charged. You can pay this amount directly at the Sonnenburg reception before the event.

Internationales Walsertreffen
Since 1962, the Walser people have celebrated a large Walser gathering every three years. Up to 2,000 Walser men and women from all over the world come together in their colourful traditional costumes in a Walser village. The meetings are highlights of the encounter. Music, singing and traditional costume groups as well as bands contribute to the joyful entertainment in the open air or on the festive evening. A joint ecumenical church service calls for devotion and reflection. The festival concludes with a large parade. The next and thus 22nd Walser Meeting will take place in Lech Zürs am Arlberg in 2025. Further information will follow as soon as possible.
