The Arlberg, the cradle of modern skiing, offers great pleasure not only on but also off the slopes. Due to its particularly high density of award-winning restaurants and impressive wine cellars full of exclusive rarities, Lech is also known as the ‘world gourmet village’. It is therefore only natural that the Arlberg and Lech Zürs become the setting for Arlberg Weinberg once a year. From 5 to 15 December 2024, the international wine elite will once again come together at the top-class symposium and gourmet event series.
At the heart of Arlberg Weinberg is the symposium from 9 to 11 December: for three days, top speakers - including journalists, legendary winemakers and viticulture experts from all over the world - will discuss the most important industry trends and taste carefully curated Austrian and international wines. The specialist conference also offers the perfect platform to exchange ideas, make new contacts and cultivate old friendships.
This year's edition of Arlberg Weinberg will focus on topics that could not be more topical: The role of water in the vineyard in times of climate change will be examined, natural and terroir wines will be contrasted in an exciting comparison and the potential of the Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay grape varieties will be analysed. For the first time, the symposium will take place in the newly opened Lechwelten.
