The Eisenberg region in southern Burgenland is one of the finest places for Blaufränkisch, where it is grown on mainly schist soil. And now, the region's newest decision is to include the white Welschriesling variety in their DAC. In this masterclass tasting, the winemakers from Eisenberg will present their current vintages of both Blaufränkisch and Welschriesling from single vineyards. This masterclass is led by Paula Sidore, TRINK magazine founder and Germany/Austria regional specialist for JancisRobinson.com.
